J.I.T. Engineering Service is your best source for professional and accurate flat layouts, programs, and detailed drawings.
Starting in 1972 as a brake operator at International Harvester's combine plant In East Moline, Illinois, where I worked for a year. I moved on to McLaughlin Body Co., working in the setup department where I learned sheet metal theory and how to set up and run all machines in the sheet metal department.
After several years of working in various sheet metal shops and perfecting my craft, in 1981 I relocated to the Bay Area in Northern California. My first job as a precision shear operator resulted in being promoted to the sheet metal department supervisor within 6 months. I began N/C programming in 1985, and worked at various companies for the next 10 years as an N/C programmer,
In 1995 I started J.I.T. Precision as a home-based programming service for various shops in the area. Within 5 years, I expanded the company into a $2 million per year business with 40 employees. Specializing in quick-turn prototypes, we excelled in on-time delivery and top quality parts. I am now semi-retired and have returned to a home-based programming and engineering service.
Satisfaction is guaranteed for all services provided.
